Biography

Jordan Deschamps (1990) is a French contemporary dancer, choreographer and actor.

 

He started dance with Latine and Ballroom dances. From 14 to 19 years old, he competed in national competitions where he won some prizes with his partner.

 

From 2009 to 2012, Jordan trained professionally as an actor in a Conservatory in Paris.

 

In 2016 he graduated from the international dance school SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) in Austria, with a Major in Choreography and completing the 4 years of professional contemporary dance training.

 

4 of his choreographic works have been invited to be presented in some festivals in Austria, Italy, Norway, England, France and Mexico. Most recently, Jordan is one of artists selected by Aerowaves Twenty18 with his work Dédale.

 

He currently works with Ivo Dimchev (BG/AU), Alessandro Sciarroni (IT) and Simon Tanguy (FR). In november 2017 he performed the piece "Gala" by Jérôme Bel. He also worked with Gilles Polet (BE), Zsuzsa Rozsavolgyi (HU), the Salzburger Festspielhaus (AU), the Opera de la Monnaie of Bruxelles (BE), 2 productions for the Summer Szene Festival in Salzburg and as an actor for the Studio d'Action Théâtrale in Switzerland.
